Business Woman

Part of the reason I started this blog was to allow others to follow my journey as a business woman. ANd while I have done an absolutely horrible job at it so far, not once did I ever stop pursuing being a Bo$$ and stacking my money!

No, seriously. I haven’t been blogging or doing much with my website because I have been so busy learning new skills, expanding my mind, and figuring out how to run a business. But, at the same time I made you all a promise to put myself out there so that you can learn from my mistakes and successes and hopefully be able to pursue your dreams as well!

So, here is the rundown…..the very brief, condensed rundown.

If there is anything that I mention in any of my posts that you would like to hear more about, please feel free to ask questions, leave comments or contact me. I want to post content that helps all of you. Knowing what you guys want to hear and what your interests are is important to me.

Here is the timeline of my life since I started this whole journey…

1. E-commerce
2. Dropshipping
3. Blogging
4. Branding
5. Photo editing
6. Graphic Design
7. Etc.

I originally wanted to start an e-commerce store. I was going to do this through dropshipping. It is a long story but I eventually decided against that and decided to start a blog. Then I proceeded to start building myself into a brand (still am). That is when I had the idea to help others do the same thing. As I was building my brand I learned so much about branding from logo design, brand identity, color palettes, mission statements, typography, the list goes on!

While learning all of this it sparked an interest in graphic design. There is so much beauty in the details that I became absorbed in learning everything I could. I started a subscription with Adobe Creative Cloud and jumped right into all the applications Adobe offered. I am still currently working with photoshop, illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and a few others. It wasn’t easy, but it was fun and interesting.

However, while I was teaching myself how to use these applications I realized that there are not a lot of good, quality tutorials for the average, complete beginner. I didn’t even know where to start, how to start, or where to look. Basically, all the beginner tutorials quickly became too easy but the intermediate tutorials were still too advanced for me. I needed a workflow, I wanted guidelines. I wanted easy to follow projects. I wanted an Adobe Creative Cloud bible basically.

So, here is the plan. I am going to guide you through the process and provide you the resources you need to learn these applications and apply them for yourself. I am making these resources from what I thought I needed to be able to teach myself and hopefully they prove to be helpful to you.

Because I do have a wide variety of interests, there will be a wide variety of topics covered. Resources for learning Adobe applications, to starting your own blog, to building your brand, and everything in between, there will be something for everyone. This is going to be fun. This is going to be awesome. I am so excited!!!

So, stay tuned for some exciting new content!
