Alright everyone, I know this wasn’t on the schedule but I thought it was necessary. Welcome to day 10 of the 30 day podcast launch challenge.
I guess I didn’t really think everything through on what exactly I was going to post for each video. Because I do not want to release the actual content on my podcast just yet, today’s video will be for days 10, 11, and 12. Each of the days I recorded an episode of my podcast to be released during the launch on August 1st, 2018.
In today’s episode, I talk about what it was like to actually start recording my podcast. Let me tell you, it was amazing! I have been stalling to record my first episode since the beginning of the year. I was nervous, afraid of how I would sound, and that I wouldn’t know what to say. When I finally recorded the first episode, everything changed.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting my along my journey. I could not have done it without the help and support of everyone around me.
I thought now would be a good time to reflect on my journey so far.
It’s been hectic. The 30 day podcast launch challenge have kept me extremely busy.
I knew it was going to be a lot of work but I didn’t realize the extent of it. But while I have been busy over the past few weeks, I’ve been so happy and excited. It’s hard to believe that my very own podcast is about to be live in a couple of weeks. It sure does make me nervous. It’s only been 10 days, but I feel like I have already learned so much.
What I learned from starting a podcast in 30 days
- Making a video every day, even if it’s a short one is pretty time consuming and hard. After forcing myself to publish 30 videos in 30 days, I feel like 1 video a week is going to be a piece of cake.
- Because I was not used to making this many videos, I did not have any systems set in place. After a few days of making consistent videos, I realized I needed some systems in place, QUICK. Nonetheless, I now have a few systems in place making my life easier and I’m still working on it.
- After recording so many videos in a short period of time, I can see my self getting better each day. I didn’t think I was terrible on video, but I knew I needed some improvements. It’s so much easier to get better when you’re actually practicing!!
- Even though the blog posts and videos don’t have very many views, simply publishing them for the world to see makes me feel responsible for sticking to me word.
